Registering a death occuring in the Sutton Coldfield area needs to be registered at:

They are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
You will need to make an appointment first, please telephone on 0121 675 2902
This is the next course of action to take after “The Medical Certificate of the Cause of Death” has been issued and given to you. (Usually from the Bereavement Office at the Hospital or from the Deceased’s GP)
If this Certificate cannot be issued, there is a possibility that the Coroner may be involved because the circumstances around the death need to be investigated further.
In many cases, this is a routine procedure and you should not be unduly alarmed.
